I think the previous poster is looking for affordable accommodation. I think $3500 might be a bit of a gouge to someone on a budget

I think $3500 is pretty good myself. We are paying $4800 for 7 nights which I think is an absolute rort.

When they go low-we go high.

There may be a few double tents left , they are ON SITE and all you need is to bring pillow and blanket or sleeping bag

Quote:
2 BED TENT MOTELS ARE AVAILABLE BY CALLING THE BLUESFEST OFFICE ON 02 6685 8310

In addition to your Festival camping ticket you are able to book your accommodation in one of the popular Tent Motels - pre set up tents, complete with an awning, carpet, 12v light, and stretcher beds and roll up windows - for a hassle and stress free Bluesfest. Please note: The Tent Motel will be available for Season camping ticket holders only. For more info on what to expect of your tent motel please visit www.tentcityhire.com.au .
Though they're from Wed to Tuesday morning only

Heading out for the East Coast / Lord knows I've paid some dues gettin' through, / Tangled up in blues.

If you are thinking of staying in Byron and driving to the festival should check out accomadation in places like Pottsville.
Its only 20mins to and from the gate at the carpark and we have rented a 3b house (nothing fancy) 2 mins walk from the beach for $1500/week.
Used to rent in Byron/Suffork and catch the bus but the rents just got crazy
So if you plan to drive its a cheaper option. Don't have the traffic there is in Byron either
