Just about to start reading it.

He says that he gave up the pot and the drink for a few months while he wrote it.

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

Hi Tim,
I got it for Christmas but not got around to reading it yet.Still a few other music books in the line.
Hope to do so before his tour.
Reviews have been very good and Rhythms readers poll voted it the best music book of the year.

Enjoy.

Read the book about 6 months ago. Found it excellent even
though not a big fan. Interesting his song writing
process.
Going to Sydney concert in March.
Missed his fund raiser in San Francisco in October.
Sold out.

I enjoyed Waging Heavy Peace. Even without the substances Neil is seriously weird, but a true artist IMHO.

The revelation that gobsmacked me was that he apparently wrote Cinnamon Girl, Down By The River & Cowgirl In The Sand (I think) all in ONE DAY.

Reading it made me want to see Crazy Horse so bad - and then the tour was announced! Will be front & centre at the Sydney Ent Cent.
