I've never flown Tiger and I'm not tempted to. Will be taking Rex up and back to Ballina for Bluesfest

I have a friend who works for Tiger and he tells me how shit they are.

Maybe things will improve if their mooted buy out comes through?

But sadly lots of the cheap airline in the world, seem to take their game plans from Ryan Air. who are efuceekayed.

SouthWest in the states used to be one the the few reputable cheap airline. It remains to be seen if that will stay the same, following their recent amalagamation with Air Tran.

It did occur - Virgin Australia brought them outright and Singapore agreed to buy a percentage of Virgin. Now that Virgin is moving towards multiple aircraft types and higher service, Tiger will be their ultra-cheap competition for Jetstar. Tiger will probably improve. Jetstar is the one I can't recommend - we nearly got stranded in Cairns for the Solar eclipse because they cancelled flights with no explanation. We went home to Brisbane via Melbourne!
