Hold up a moment - isn't that an announcement from last years bluesfest?

looks pretty sweet, but will wait to see who the plus more are, didn't think jimmy cliff would hang around to play bluesfest as he is in adelaide for womadelaide on 8-11 march but i guess its a big tour of the country.
most keen for rodriguez :)

There is too much repetition for that to be the second announcement.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.

Jimmy Cliff is playing at Womad not Bluesfest.

It also is not logical because there are no country artists.

Just got the email from Bluesfest - it's official. Some great acts here - very happy (even though no DMB)...

I just got the email.
I think there is too much repetition of artists in this lineup, considering the thousands of artists out there.
It is a surprising traditional slant in terms of genre.
And country is virtually absent.
However,I have got one of my dream artists in the Duke Robbillard Band.
I would come to Australia to see him regardless of anyone else playing.

Email says this is the ... BLUES & ROOTS RELEASE

A little bit blue, a little bit country a little bit soul, a little bit reggae, a little bit gospel ... something for everyone!

Having missed the last 2, this fest is going to make up for my absence. I like a good 90% of that announcement a great deal. A total treat for me...bingo.

Still no Franti, no sign of Status Quo, but Michael Kiwanuka has made the grade

Duke regrettably has only one set.
At Wangaretta Jazz Festival which unfortunately I could not get to,Young Bill was fortunate enough to see three sets.
