I looked for a recent show to see what they would be performing at Bluesfest.
I watched two hours of this before the internet started to go slow.
I could not see what all the fuss was about.
Must be my age.

I would have thought the CRB would have suited your age down to the ground Ranger. I'm sure you will change your thoughts once you see them at BF.

I have them on my list for Friday, based on the recommendations of posters on this forum.
Hence my totally agreement that this forum still has relevance! (too me)

message from bluesfest touring

Please ask you friends in Sydney & Melbourne to support these shows.

ticket sales are not great - however - the shows WILL happen - there is zero chance of cancellation

would be tragic for this truly great band to come so far to play to only 400 people in each city

How about being on the CRB team - and spreading the word ?

Can we please get an Amen

thanks

Unbelievable, we moan about the lack of bands touring and then we don't support them.
I know people on this forum have said that they don't float their boat, but surely there are enough people in the two big cities
that appreciate something out of the box.

If we don't support them they will not come!!!!!

No-one in the major Au cities should ever be complaining about the lack of live music.
If they are then their tastes are too shallow.
It is an embarrassment of riches.

I've made sure all of my mates who aren't attending BF get themselves down to The Corner to see the CRB. As Bondy said, this is an exclusive as they have not toured outside of the US before. Not that they will mind if they play in front of 1000 people or 10 people....but having said that, it will certainly determine whether they return again. For goodness sake, they possess one of the finest rock vocalists ever in the history of music. Support it. Dig it.

Thanks guys,

please tell your music loving friends - this is a not to be missed band playing outside the US for the first time - and we want them to love Australia so much they become regulars

We are sure those who see them will not be disappointed

Hey Bluesfest Admin

In relation to the Thursday night issue of headliners. Why don't you move Jimmy Cliff to Mojo to replace Kravitz. He'll go down a storm and the Kravitz crowd will get blown away. Then in Jambalaya, make the CRB the headliner but starting at 20:30 (shuffle the other bands back down the schedule)....then they can do their full tripped out set that they would normally do in a club. A bonus for everyone!! Who's with me?? Let the CRB set you free....

Sorry Luluc, but you have to go! Wagons for an hour then half hour break then CRB for an hour.

Hey, hang on a minute there!
It's changed again today, Wagons have now been jammed in the middle -
1600 Luluc
1700 Wagons
1730 CRB

It needs fixing, I want to see as much of both LULUC and CRB as possible.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion man...

What is going on?? Either Wagons or Luluc need to be moved to the 12:00pm slot on another day. Simples!

Absolutely brilliant band, this thread hyped them up big time and they didn't disappoint - (never knew Neil Casal played Rick in the walking dead too).
