Novembers looking like an expensive month.
Following on from the Black Keys tour announcement in NZ, pencil in an Acoustic Ben Harper tour and Mumford and Sons, both announced today.
A flight to Sydney for Bonamassa in October..........she is going to be a slim Christmas!!!!!

Have been waiting for Sydney Blues Fest announcement, so looks like more than enough goodies (actually, Charlie Musselwhite is more than enough!) & last year, some of the best acts were the complete unknowns (for me), some of whom are making a return visit (Two Girls Will, Genevieve Chadwick & Benjalu). Hope they bring back Boats Of Berlin again as well!!

This post should be titled artists that (probably) won't be playing Bluesfest 2013.

Got my Acoustic Evening with Ben Harper tickets in the pre-sale last week.

Was wondering why he wasn't booked for Bluesfest or Splendour this year.

Got my Rhythms mag in NZ today...........saw the Emmy-Lou tour.
Not announced in NZ yet...................looks like another flight over the ditch!!!

Throw in the Sydney Festival and I should shift over for six weeks for the first of October.

That would be ground breaking.......................a Kiwi shifting to Australia!!!!

hey guys just thought i should bring to your attention that trombone shorty & orleans avenue will be coming back out at the end of september for the caloundra music festival which runs from september 28 to 30.
no other dates have been posted but would expect shows in sydney & probably melbourne to be announced if not more.

oh & just checked out the full lineup... also coming from overseas is galactic who were amazing at bluesfest a few years back...

pretty strong lineup with both of those internationals plus john butler trio, cat empire, melbourne ska orchestra, the hands, chase the sun, lanie lane...

thinking i might head up for the weekend :)

It's a good lineup isn't it. I went last year and enjoyed it and I think this year's lineup is much better. Anyway it's academic for me, I've got something else on and can't go.

Thank God.

BC, I can only assume that you are a fan, so don't take my vitriolic response too personally, but Sheeran.....seriously? Is this what music has come to? Good luck to him for having done so well for himself, but he's at about the level of a pub covers guy.
