As stated on the website:

"Vehicles will not be allowed to come and go from the camp ground. If you like to go to town a shuttle bus service is available on a regular basis to Mullumbimby, Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads."

Is this for real? Am I'm going to have to walk to the lighthouse from town? Did anyone go last year? Was the rule enforced? In years prior to last year I've been able to come and go in the car. Sounds like a major bummer of a rule!

Cheers

Luke

Bit of a bummer, but circle work is permitted, so that's something I suppose.

I would think that you could use the general car park and walk to and from the camp area, beats stripping the car for smuggled contraband search daily.

Heading out for the East Coast / Lord knows I've paid some dues gettin' through, / Tangled up in blues.

Thanks Greybeard.

A good idea - although I was going to hire a campervan. Not risking the annual downpour in a tent!
