My son says he heard an item on TripleJ news this morning saying this years Bluesfest has been shifted back to Belongil Fields

I told him he was dreaming but just to be sure, googled 'bluesfest belongil 2012'

This is what I found: http://www.fasterlouder.com.au/gigguide/sydney/event/52668/Byron-Bay-Bluesfest-2012

A quick look at some of the comments evidences that it is a Kiddies' site so I would take no notice of anything that is said on it.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.

DON'T PANIC

Doing my own Googling it is Splendour that is moving back to Belongil & this seems to have only been announced today.
I thought that one of the reasons Bluesfest & Splendour moved was because Belongil was to be developed.

They also have a link to bf 2011 @ Belongil Fields so i dont think its very accurate.
To be honest i would prefere Belongil.

I liked the intimacy of Red Devil, with the golf course as a chill out spot with lots of space.

I loved belongil because of the short(er) walk home. I wouldn't be disappointed if it was there 'cos I'd see more early acts; come back for swim and then back to the fest.
