Hey Peter and crew - what about staging an Aussie showcase in Crossroads on Friday afternoon. Who would you like to see on the one stage a la Music Maker?
Here's a fe4w suggestions to kick it off
Fiona Boyes,Jeff Lang, Diesel, Chris Wilson, Hatz, Dallas Frasca, Chain, Andy Cowan, Lil Fi.Ray Beadle, Chase the Sun- love to see them do a couple of songs each and then come on for a massive jam.
Any takers?

There are enough old (and new) Australian artists to dedicate an entire tent for hte festival - change the name of the Jambalaya to the Bungawalbin

Potential performers - and I'm sure there will be many others who I've forgotten (with apologies to them)

Feel free to add to the list!

You can't have an Australian artist showcase without having Jaimi Faulkner involved.

Love to see Jaimi again. He's been overseas for some time now... Would be great to get him to come back for Bluesfest. He must be due to visit Australia!

Had the immense pleasure of seeing Fiona Boyes, Lloyd Spiegel and Geoff Achison & the Souldiggers at the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society's 21st Anniversary gig on Saturday night! Would be great to see some more of this awesome home-grown blues talent on the line-up for next year!!

And I'm sure I will have some more to add to the list after checking out the inaugral Bendigo Blues Festival this weekend!

Love to see those artists at Bluesfest 2012 Rachel. Would also love to see the return of Darren Nauendorf who is long overdue and a good mate of Jaimie Falkner.

I quite liked the indigenous tent. They didn't have it this year, which was a pity.
