As a chair sitter I am quite happy to sit at the back and stand to watch an act up front, it may have happened due to the bad programming of BB King in Crossroads but having the chairs put to the back made the next few nights much better. (Except when Irma Thomas plays to a quarter full tent.
With the crowds this year can the site get bigger?

I agree, it was much more organised once areas for chairs were designated. We were sitting outside Crossroads, moved out because it was too crowded inside. A few angry young people tried to barge through the crowd to get to the front of the already crowded tent, only to stop in front of us and carry on a loud conversation completly oblivious to the music. Tempers were raised and it was only luck that a fight didn't break out. First time in all the years of going to Bluesfest that I felt really uncomfortable. Shame a little more thought hadn't gone into tent allocation for BBKing.
