well if you were in crossroads you certainly had your faith restored with martha staples and the blind boys.
irma thomas settled in and the second half of her set was more relaxed and showed her great voice.
ash grunwald gave a good stong set to a giant crowd(for 2p.m.)
then
robert randolph played a great set-different from sat.and i think better with a great purple haze encore.it doesnt get better randolpf playing hendrix.
but wait to finish a great day,the angel came upon us in her shimmering fairy dress, susan tedeschi showed her incredible voice, guitar and presence for derek to top with virtuoso guitar licks.
midnight in harlem -another great moment-again great work by the film crew.
cant wait to get revelator, the new tedeschi-trucks cd.

should have been there scotty mac. its been 24-26 degrees here, very little rain.

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

i don't want to sound like a creep, but if i don't marry robert randolph's backing singer i get the feeling my life will have been a waste of time.

I'd stand through the Edinburgh winter for a Randolph/Trucks-Tedeschi double (for 2 days in a row no less). Luckily catching Derek & Susan in late June, but still no luck with the Family Band. And Irma would have been great. And Mavis back to form. Oh dear, those middle 3 days in Crossroads really did look like a treat.

It would have been great to put my chair down and take it all in ;-)
