According to interviews in the local press they've spent
Money on drainage. They should ask for it back. The place is a swamp and it's been sunny for two days here in Byron. Anyway bring your mudwear.
Music is still great though.

Not to mention that as I write I am stuck in the parklot trying to get out of the festival grounds - have not moved one inch for an hour and a half! No disrespect to the organisers, but this is the most ridicuolous situation I have ever experienced - not even getting out of the mcg from the footy grand final is as bad!

took me 5 minutes to get out of the carpark. maybe you should have picked a better spot. we had rain here every day for a week, this is just ground water coming to the top as feet compact the ground.

not cold during the day,a little nip at night, but most people still in shorts and tshirts at night.

a little wet in some spots,i just wore sneakers and there not too dirty.

as they say you cant please all the people all the time.

Yes, I'll be wearing boots today!

...and to all the guys peeing on the wall adjoining the ladies toilets....don't do it! It's coming through to the other side on the ground, adding to the already wet surface.

Why anyone would even think of wearing good shoes to the fest is beyond me

I'll be wearing a pair of old rubber thongs on Tuesday. I don't mind the feel of mud between my toes.
