I've been looking at the timetable on Blanch's, and it seems the first bus from Byron to the Campsite is not until 1.30pm.
I get into Byron around 11, and will obviously have all my gear.
Any thoughts on either a/getting to the campsite before the first shuttle or b/ somewhere safe to leave my gear so I can wander before the first shuttle at 1.30?
Also, anyone else in the same boat?

if coming down from gold coast airport, you go past the festival site, just get dropped off at site.are you camping there?if not there book into accomodation go to the railway friendly bar at about midday, meet lots of festivalgoers, and get a lift.

the shuttle driver may be nice enough to let drop you at tyagarah if there are a few in the same position but i wouldn't count on it.

yeah, hit the rails.
