Buddy Guy is currently streaming a live set from Legends. For those of Facebook, you can find it in his feed. I'm not aware of a non-Facebook feed.

Recently got hold of Fantastic Negrito's The Last Days of Oakland album. Really enjoying it. My favourite discovery at Bluesfest last year!

Violin music being played over and over again whilst I have been on hold for 31 minutes now by Centrelink, as I have to make an enquiry to see if things have been corrected regarding some family stuff.

I wish they would change it up a bit.

For those who like Hurray for the Riff Raff and Alynda Lee Segarra (who should be at the top of the "get at all costs" list for next year, here's a pre-release listen to their new album, The Navigator:

Snarky Puppy/Laura Mvula "Sing to the moon". This song has gotten into my head and just won't leave! Look forward to catching both acts at BF.

Recently got around to ripping my copy of Mark Seymour's new album.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dj2hSQJ5168

It was great being part of the small audience at one of the recording sessions.

Bob Dylan 30th anniversary concert from 1992. What a line-up. Some really great covers and the man himself was in good form.
Also Learned that Sinead O'Connor got booed off stage because she tore up a pic of the pope on Saturday Night Live fortnight previously in protest at child abuse in the Catholic Church. The irony of a Dylan audience booing anyone for their views! Wonder how those people feel about the issue now and their behaviour on the night.

They got the cocaine, oxycontin, mushrooms, marijuana
Vodka, plastic pop-off, twist one off
Yesterday I smoked, today I don't
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Thanks for posting brother.
I have never seen Manzanera live.
My only Ferry Viewing was both shows in Auckland 2004.
Chris Spedding & Mick Green were on guitar.
The only advice I would give Phil is to get a decent vocalist.
They are not exactly a rare breed.
The lady he has is singing far too low.
Ruins the effects of what is superb instrumentation.

To be honest since a first heard this album I've been thinking how great her voice matches the music.
Just shows when it comes to music we sometimes hear the same thing but in a different way.
Comes to Chris Spedding I can't go past the album Joyland an album I've enjoyed from the first listen.
