'Awaken, My Love' by Childish Gambino.
Questlove from The roots called D'angelo at 4am he loved it so much.
George Clinton gave it a wrap too.
Very P-funk!

Nathaniel Rateliff - Out on the Weekend
Rhiannon Giddens- tomorrow is my turn
Miles Mosley - uprising
Rag'n'bone man - human
The skins - still sleep
Kishi bashi - sonderlust
Houndmouth - little neon limelight
Big smoke - time is golden
St. Paul and the broken bones - sea of noise

And a lot of nick cave. Not long now until Sydney shows.

Trumpet bells ringing
Bass drum is swinging
As the trombone groans
And the big horn moans

Tony Joe White's new release is excellent. Been giving it thrashin' on Spotify, while I look to see if I can find an actual copy. May have to cross the fingers and hope that the Bluesfest CD tent will have copies for sale (that and The Suffers album - hint, hint).

Just listened to brand new albums by Kasey Chambers and Vika bull. Two of Australia's best. Both would be great at Bluesfest doing the new albums.
