wondering if anyone can comment on the legitimacy of this hire company.

are camping hire scams the new black?!

alternatively, if anyone can recommend somewhere to hire equipment from i would be most appreciative?

I have encouraged past years new campers to consider the cheaper options
Why rent when you can buy, for the price of renting for one week you can buy a tent and other accessories that WILL last at least four Bluesfests and other weekends

Heading out for the East Coast / Lord knows I've paid some dues gettin' through, / Tangled up in blues.

Don't forget, anyone flying in will have baggage restrictions to consider. That said, I think I crammed in a little 2 man tent when I flew to my last Falls fest a few years back.....

And don't get me started on the cheap-o Tarp/Gazebo thing I bought at Kempsey Big W in about 2005. That thing was hopeless beyond words in the face of Byron weather (and that was a dry year)
