Been to alot of Festivals lately that only serve Mid strength beer and spirits, and as thats a good thing is some cases but Bluesfest isnt one of them. I have been going to Bluesfest for years and 95% of people are very cruisey even when a bit pissy eyed. So please stick to full strength and maybe go with CUB this year??? Carlton Draught would be awesome ;)

Agree 100% with everything else you said. Except this. No it wouldn't.

I enjoyed myself last year despire being sober. I enjoyed more music by spending less time in lines (for tickets or for drinks) and had more money in my wallet to spend on CDs. I simply figured I would rather go "dry" rather than drink beers that aren't worth buying at a bottle shop let alone festival prices.

with xxxx gold being one of australias most popular beers, and being mid strength i think it might be there. licensed venues have to provide
light alcohol beer by law.
personally i hate canned beers,it gets warm to quickly, you have to have a cooler.
so its whats available in cans that will be sold.id like to see the plastic bottled beer on sale, but its short lifespan tends to limit its sale.
and with the bottleshop warring over price, surely the beer on sale could be a reasonable price.

Anything from CUB is second rate beer.
Any beer from a can is second rate beer
CUB cans = third rate beer.

Having said that, I'm happy with VB tinnies wrapped in a Bluesfest stubbie holder ;-)

Imagine having Little Creatures Pale Ale on tap!

sadly not true. it is illegal to serve full strength alcohol at queensland festivals so mid strength wine has been introduced.

if bluesfest are forced to adopt the same (draconian) policy then 'the vino' will not 'always' be 'full strength'. thanks for reading.

MMMMMmmmmmmmmmm! Tap beer!!! I think I'd drink even more beer and that might not be a good thing, especially if it were Little Creatures Pale Ale!

If the beer choices are the same as usual, I may go with mpember and have a relatively dry festival. However, if it's warm as long range forecasts show.............

Tooheys New is what Gods drink!!!!!!!!!!!

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.
