I guess the demographic you're aiming for is fairly well defined!!

You should broadcast live from Cronulla on Australia day

I have removed this listing when it started to spill over into other posts.
I have also given the lister a 'rest' from our site for a few days from the ability to post.
We do not mind music being promoted on our Forum - however, is this post becoming too much like advertising, and of the wrong type - and would our posters like to see it
limited in it's future ability to post on the bluesfest site
your response please

the advertised site doesn't seem to have a strong link to the fest in terms of music/content/interest

in fact, and this is just my personal opinion, it seems to be targetted towards a demographic more interested in dumb sexist postings, pretty average music selections and a 'classic aussie rock' mentality that seems more narrow minded than 'in depth' in terms of its coverage.

given the amount of quality blues and roots oriented shows available via streaming and online, is this the site that needs endless promotion? don't think so

I say get rid of it... the lack of responses over the weeks/months this has been going on suggests no one here is really in the least bit interested.

ditto.

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

I had no problem with it while the posts were kept to its own thread (so if we choose to we can ignore it) but when i saw it posted in other topics it became a little annoying.

We have decided here at Bluesfest not to delete the ability for these posts to continue.
although all responses were negative - there were not enough.
however, if the poster starts advertising on other threads , as has occured in the past- we will remove their ability to post in future
hope this resolves everything amicably

I like it. It is original insightful and humorous. Hopefully it will soon be on every thread.

littlewillie - finally a design I can be completely happy with for my first tattoo.

I'd prefer it to be limited so I can put it to use as my wacky signature sign off graphic thing.

While a kangaroo belching and using it's pouch to stow some stubbies had me wetting mine, the use of the words 'aussie' and 'oi' in the same sentence always makes want to emigrate.

Thanks Peter.
