I'm planning on arriving fairly early on the Wednesday in the hopes to get a decent camping spot.

Will there be shuttles running that day into Byron?? Or only the day the festival is on?

I would be rather surprised if the camping is allocated in order of "best to worst". It is more likely front-to-back, left-to-right, or similar.

It's more about hoping to get close-ish to festival

And either way, good spot or not, it doesn't actually answer my question...

Maybe check with the bus company - Blanch's.

I suspect there will be no shuttles until Thursday - and then not until they finish the school run (unless they're on hols).

Valid question - I have been wondering the same thing as we are only bringing cereal/fruit etc for breakfasts and snacks so won't have cooking facilities to do dinner for the Wed night.

Side note:

I've noticed on here that a few of the 'advanced members' aren't really showing much maturity when responding to people's questions. For many this is their first year camping and rather than hammering the Bluesfest Office with phone calls, we first approach the forum hoping that people who have attended before may be able to offer some valuable insite....

It's pretty frustrating when a simple question is asked and a less than helpful response is posted which doesn't actually answer the original question.

I would have thought any member of this forum would support efforts in allowing Bluesfest Admin & Operations the time they need to pull together such a huge event rather than answering phone calls....maybe I am mistaken and they would rather waste everyones time with their stupid answers.

Just saying.....

There are no shuttle busses Wednesday.
The regular Blanch's bus route has a bus stop at the Service Station outside the festival site and it will be operating on Wednesday.
Go to Blanch's Busses website for the timetable.
thanks

chickster01-you have to remember last year was the first bluesfest at tyagarah. so forum members dont neccessarily know everything
about the logistics of that site.

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

Yes well aware of that Waffles...not expecting them to know everything, just asking them to hold back on the sarcastic unhelpful remarks is all :-)

And thank you to those more advanced members that do try to help.

Thanks BFAdmin....answers the question perfectly.

14 days to go!!!! Think my feet are beginning to tap already and my body is starting the groove woooooohooooooo
