As we are now under a month away,i thought id bring up the weather,as easter can often bring the wet.so far this month we are 2 degrees
above average with the average maximum temp 28 degrees, highest for the month 33 degrees.
average miminum 19 degrees.

total rainfall for march so far is 118 mm,wettest day was 26mm.this is quite a lot below average rainfall for march(average 210mm)
the humidity is still high some days reaching 70%.
most days the rainfall is 1-5 mm.

hopefully we wont have the ground water that we had last year that held up eathworks etc. we had 3 months of heavy rainfall leading up to bluesfest last year. so far so good. havent seen weather predictions for easter yet.

scott m ,whats the weather like where you are?

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

would be great not having any more cars bogged while setting up making a mess of a walk to the gate! lost a flip flop while on a rush to see a set and then refused entry cause i needed both of them on my feet!

Mate, I just spent the weekend by the beach (or at least what the English call a beach - pebbles, concrete and water meeting land is about the extent of it). Clear skies, lovely weather. Enjoying it while it lasts.

Still, the English climate has its advantages - no need to stow all my favourite jackets away for an entire season. Much more rock and roll.

I should add, whilst I'm gutted to be missing out on what should be the best Bluesfest to date, I will not miss waking up in a tent with the sun pounding down upon it for 5 days. Why did it always seem to be sunny in the mornings when I needed to sleep one off?

I know Waffles, but it doesn't look as good! I looked at a bunch of forecasts and went with the one that looked the best. Not scientific, but with less than a week to go, provides some optimism/hope. We're going to be in a tent and can use all of the good weather we can get!! Don't want to be flooded out like the great flood of '06!

i live 30 min from byron and the weather has cooled right down in the past few days so bring some warm clothes. really unfortunate that it couldnt stay warm for an extra week! it will be around 20 all bluesfest with rain predicted everyday.

.... same ol' story though for blues.

I might be going out on a limb here but I am predicting mostly fine weather for the festival.
There will be the odd showers blowing in off the sea but nothing long lasting or significant.
Just a gut feeling.
Happy festing all.

I'm an hour and a bit south of Byron and have noticed it's a lot cooler than it normally is this time of year. So sick of all the rain .. hopefully it clears up by Easter.
