Hey there..This is a very STUPID question but maybe not. who knows?

There are camping tickets and festival entry tickets - do you have to buy them separately or does a 3/5 day ticket get you camping as well? I'm not so familiar with having to buy separately.

ALSO - does anyone have any experience of volunteering? I just wanted to know what kind of roles there were? I'm pretty broke and I'm planning on going alone as no one I know is willing to spend the money on blues. So I thought volunteering would be a good idea, I'd meet people and save a bit of cash etc. Can you do bar work or litter picking? Is that the idea?

Apologies for all the questions, any input gratefully received.

Neala

Neala, I can't really answer for the ticket question, I think they are seperate. But as for volunteering, that I do know. Just do it! Its a great way to experience a different side of the festival, and yes, you don't have to buy a ticket. Camping is not provided though. I did it for five years and loved it, but I live here so I didn't have to camp. Applications should open soon, and there's a big range of jobs covered, so you should find something you're suited to. I personally wouldn't go to festivals if I wasn't working, but thats just me. I just got back from 2 weeks working at Woodford, and I definitely wouldn't go if I didn't have something to do. There's also the option of doing pre and post festival work, which means you are free(or on call) during the actual festival days. That tends to be physical work, but it might suit you. There's lots of info on the website once the applications open.
Good luck!
