The Waifs!!!

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

steve isn't amazing but he's okay. saw him last year.

i've no idea what he would charge, but i'd say it would be a hell of a lot and totally not worth it. (i'm not anti-steve martin, just kinda realistic)

get the steep canyon rangers by themselves! incredible band.

Steve Martin has no place at the bluesfest he is quoted "I find the blues depressing" clearly the guy's out of touch with what's going on around him in his little Hollywood bubble. His singing in the little shop of horrors (you'll be a dentist) was just disturbing. Who and why would anyone was to see this jerk is beyond me. Cheaper by the dozen 2 was a clear cash in on the classic, cheaper by the dozen 1, he has no integrity - I personally can't wait to hear the pirate song guys and we should have more gimmick acts like them announced to give the festival more of a tripped out vibe!

I'm going to put it out there to lng time posters on this board........ Maccain09 - the new alias of the once-beloved-now-absent "Agent Provocateur"? I'm seeing some similarities.

I know that the ID of "previous posters with new handles" is traditionally the domain of the one and only Lone Ranger, but I thought I'd put this one in the mix.

Scotty, The Ranger once accused me of something simular a few years back. To be honest I wish i was someone else. That way I might be looking forward to the Robbins guy taking the place of the likes of the next Seasick Steve or Jake shimabukuro etc etc..
Back to the post at hand. Luka Bloom is a dead cert for the next announcment.
Who else?
Heres a real conspiracy theory: are the Avett Brothers really the Hanson Brothers? A quick search of google images reveal's all.
as for their songwriting i cant tell a difference.

seriously tho, Steve Martin.....is this is a wind up. I wouldn't even say his "single role" acting is great never mind about his musical ability.

Unlike you Dan, I am anti-Steve Martin & anti-Chris Martin while I'm at it

Well picked Maccain. Some may call it life imitating art but for me Steve Martins only mildly amusing filum was his first one The Jerk.
He is the adopted white son of African American sharecroppers, who grows to adulthood naïvely unaware of his obvious adoption. He stands out in his family not just because of his skin color, but also because of his utter lack of rhythm when his adopted family plays spirited blues music.
The fun really starts when he decides to leave home and hitch hike to St Louis.
