There are a number of variables.

For example

How much are you prepared to pay.

Are you prepared to camp or do you want to stay in a building.

Will you be taking the bus to the festival each day or will you be driving.

If the latter, how far out are you willing to stay.

buses run to bluesfest from brunswick heads to the north, lennox head and ballina to the south. thats if youre not driving.
easter is peak time for accomodation on the far north coast. try real estate agents if you want house or flats, try backpackers or try motels. if youre going to bluesfest you wont be spending too much time in your accomodation. these other areas are usually cheaper than byron bay.

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

Hi Hamish,

we have 2 rooms in a lovely home near Byron. Will provide lifts to and from Festival. From Festival there is a shuttle bus to Byron if you then wish to go into town and back to Festival. Let me know how many nights you will want to stay, and number of people and if you wish to have breakfast here provided.

cheers

Heather

G'day Hamish,
We've got room for three in our house. $625 each for the stay.
There's a double bed in one room and a single in another.
Very central. Very comfortable place. Good bunch of people.
Give me a buzz if you'd like any more details.
Cheers, Dave 0413 587 106
