Sorry, guys. You may have to modify your promotions. I saw Leon Russell very much alive and well and seriously rockin' on his Australian tour in 1973. He was smokin' at the South Melbourne Football Ground on Sunday February 25 that year. Paul Dainty brought him out with his full band. Very memorable show. I still have the program complete with a More Music 3XY ad. Melbourne people will get nostalgic about that. I'm sure Leon will be huge up there, but he has toured Australia already contrary to the breathless advertising by Bluesfest.

If you remember the 70s then you weren't there.

Only someone born in the late 70's would think that.
So in 40 yrs time your going to forget you saw Tim Robins play bluesfest 2011?
I doubt that very much Kid!

think it the theatre gig was after the will o the wisp album
clearly remember Leon singing "lost in the woods" and then saying

Leon Russel: "How do you say 'lost in the jungle in Zulu?"

Zulu tribesman: "Zulus don't get lost in the jungle, there's no way to say that".

ha ha
