Now that the festival is just about completely sold out for Thursday to Monday, does that mean
the promoters don' t have the urgency or need to have another announcement.
If they do, please can we have Buffy Saint Marie on in the first 5 days?
And no Cyndi Lauper. Her blues album?

Have just seen the third announcement and STILL no Paul Kelly and Tim Finn within the 'real festival' program

Leon Russell - what can I say!

I'm lucky enough to live locally so have no issues with accomm or flights etc if I can scrape up the additional pennies required for the separate stand alone day (please don't call it Day 6) but can understand there will be some very annoyed punters out there when this announcement goes global

Leon. Good lordy!

I thought I'd never get to see him, here's hoping for more than just a tuesday appearance. My budget may not stretch that far sadly.

I've got my 6th day ticket sorted, and have already seen Leon Russell before... but wow... this 6th day scheduling sure is gonna piss people off!

Yep! Me already, and it's only February - I still have a few months to stew

Funktastic George Clinton Funkadelic Parliament again, a highlight when they last played Bluesfest.
It was a bit like a circus with funky tunes, excellent.
Still looks like a maybe few a few holes in the schedule, more Aussie acts to come.

The gods have answered with Buffy.
Now all we need now is for Leon to perform in the first 5 days.

Cmon guys! Get Funkadelic and Leon Russell in the 'main' program...the punters who have already have unloaded some of their big money for the 5 day tix at least deserve to see these legends as much as this single sixth-day hang-ons!!!

Got my 6th day ticket, got to agree with spreading the artists over the whole programme where possible. Been a while since I last saw Buffy, still have a ticket stub somewhere, still looking like a great festival, and being later this year might see some more settled weather. Cant wait.

Paperboy comes on Mon, as well as Tue, so that's good.

Yep.

totally agree. I am coming up from Melbourne and can't make the budget stretch to the 6th day, let alone changing flights and accommodation.
was *really* excited about George Clinton & P-funk as well as seeing Paul Kelly and Tim Finn, but only on the extra day?

poor form.

P-Funk and Leon Russell have to play more than just the Tuesday, it will be ridiculously upsetting to be going to Bluesfest for 5 days and not seeing them. Same goes for Paul Kelly and Tim Finn as well

just so you don't cry, dan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JbUP-skb7E

alternatively just put pfunk on last on the fifth day - pretty good chance they will still be playing on the 6th...
