After the spate of Festival deaths due to illicit drugs, there is going to be more responsibility put back on the organisers to satisfy the public outrage.

Therefore their will be even more pressure put on the Festival organisers (and their budgets) to have procedures in place to satisfy the increased scrutiny placed on them. This also applies to Bluesfest I imagine.

Even though the demographic is different due to the artists performing, they will need to show conformation to the new regime.

I will be camping and bringing drugs; an unfortunate situation due to my age and illnesses.

Would it be prudent for me to bring a Doctor's letter for my medication similar to those letters that some overseas destinations require?

I will now remove my tongue from my cheek!!

Agree. Last year I took my partner who was in the final stages of lung cancer. We would have enough drugs to supply the whole festival except she needed them (selfish I know) I cannot actually remember if we had a certificate from her treating specialist to cover her if we had been searched on entry. On a final note I really appreciated all the volunteers who took their time out of the busy schedules to help her when the need arose.
