The lead singer sound almost identical to Plant.

Nothing new with the sound but wow do they sound like zeppelin.

Any thoughts from old zeppelin fans?

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

Embarrassing is a word that comes to mind.

Not a fan of an imitation scooter? Can’t deny the blokes vocals sound like plant though

Perhaps we shouldn't be so quick to crucify them. Whilst we (that older generation who grew up with Zep) will always love Zep, it is good to see some young blokes having a crack at playing some classic blues-based rock, albeit very derivative.
Perhaps they will develop some of their own style eventually? ....and they are certainly streets above most of the other auto-tuned schlock that seems to be so pervasive these days.
However, they are garnering a lot of support from the younger generation

"The white man had the schmaltz
The black man had the blues
No one knew what they was gonna do
But Tchaikovsky had the news...."

They sound good. Mayby the singer idolises Robert Plant or maybe that's just the way it is. They all seem to be excellent musicians. Mayby the 20 something generation will get more out of watching a 20 year old than a 70 year old. I wish them well.
Regards Glenboss

3rd announcement tomorrow and I don't need to go into work till lunchtime. Excellent !!!!!!

I’d love to see these guys at Bluesfest, Granted, they are a tad derivative, but what a great foundation to build from. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxFWMqkV6BY

Funnily enough I was talking to a muso from Umina the other day and told me about Greta van Fleet. He mentioned that the lead singer sounded like Robert Plant so I listened to them on Spotify and yep there are similarities. I would see them if they came to Bluesfest.

GvF vocalist for sure meets some classic Plant intonation. Great young kids, brilliant bassist (reminds me of Trevor Boulder of Heep), a free flowing drummer. Overall a must watch. We are in for a good time surely. Waiting for the final list which will make our choices harder for scheduling..LoL
