Looks promising but I was thinking how he feels about the long haul flight down here...it doesn't get any easier the older we get! However, if fest will pay for first class tickets for him and the band, then maybe, just maybe he will come. I saw him with Nick Lowe ten years ago and it was absolutely fantastic!

The new album would be something to behold live. He’s touring with his son I’m sure his young bloke would be tempted to check out the greatest festival on earth.

It may be more perception rather than fact, but I think that there could more female artists on the bill. Some suggestions:
Courtney Barnett Jen Kloher Margo Price Roseanne Cash Mary Chapin Carpenter, Lucinda Williams Paula Cole Beth Orton Kasey Chambers The Indigo Girls Rhiannon Giddens Amy Shark Neko Case Olympia Florence and the Machine Laura Marling Feist Jonatha Brooke Kathleen Edwards Sarah Harmer Maria McKee Missy Higgins Sarah Blasko Kate Bush!! Middle Kids HAIM Emily Wurramurra Jessica Mauboy Tiddas Tracy Chapman Macy Gray Tift Merrit Thelma Plum Emma and Casey Donovan Rochelle (Pitt)

Nice list and idea in general... would love to see Beth Orton and Tracy Chapman. I'd add: Dolly Parton Sade Natalie Merchant Yola Carter Hollie Cook Sinead O'Connor Loreena McKennitt Lykke Li Neneh Cherry Tanita Tikiram Gwenno Eivor Olivia Chaney LUMP (Laura Marlings latest side project) Susanna Susanne Sundfor Jhelisa Carleen Anderson The Breeders Belly Santigold Marissa Nadler Tina Dico Kate Havnevik Miki Berenyi
