every year we have a fairly unknown artist/band create a buzz around bluesfest.
i.e. vintage trouble,lukas nelson,california honeydrops etc
I would be interested to know who posters think will it will be this year.

I remember after JOHN HIATT s first show a few years back...which was incredible...the word spread quickly, and his next show was packed.
ps about time he was back.

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

i predict ryan mcmullan will catch the attention of a lot of young attendees who like their folk/pop style of music as he is similar to artists such as ed sheeran & passenger. another pick for me would be con brio who should get over with the michael franti crowd pretty strongly. oh and i also think the tesky brothers will have a good showing at the festival. other then those i'm not sure as to who may be the "nextbig thing".

Bluesfest has been wonderful for introducting me to new music, right from my first bluesfest in 1996.That first year I was blown away like everybody by Ben Harper, closely followed by the Paladins. So many over the years,I think this year it might be The Teskey Bros.or The Hanlon Bros.Really looking forward to seeing both.

Teskey Brothers are fabulous, really looking forward to seeing them again. Agree with admin Hanlon Brothers are looking good. Both are on my list at the moment. I find myself most looking forward to some of the Boomerang artists. Narasirato, The Strides, and Benny Walker have all got me excited. My tip is Benny Walker.

The black man had the blues

But Tchaikovsky had the news...."

Totally Agree that the Hanlon Brothers could be a big hit too - oh and Little Georgia for chilled vibes - But Hussy Hicks still my overall prediction.
