Tedeschi Trucks Band definitely will not be coming in 2019 as they will be touring Europe. Just announced on their FB page.
I'm very disappointed as they are one of my favourite all time bands. I thought for sure they would be coming as it will be three years since their last visit.

Bad news, as they're headliners. And great band. What's jools holland and band up to?

Disappointed as they were on my Wishlist. Time for the second announcement.

With Billy Bragg just announced to be touring in Dec, that makes it unlikely he will be on the list for BF 2019.
With the previous cases of AFL GF appearances being used to announce 2019 tours, should we be expecting Black Eyed Peas to be announced for BF 2019?

Missed the 2011 tour which was Winery. My only viewing has been 2004 just before my first Bluesfest. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/bryan-ferry/2004/civic-theatre-auckland-new-zealand-63c75e7b.htmlI very much like the current setlist. Editions of you is a much more interesting finale than Goodnight Irene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAVtZRI2frwWill be the music highlight of 2019 for me.

Bryan Ferry would be great. Saw Roxy Music at the Wembley Arena in early 1989. Wow wee that was awhile ago. Hope he is on the list.

I'm still hoping for Earth, Wind and Fire. They would bring the party just as easily as Michael Franti. The last time I saw them, everyone was dancing from the second bar of the first song and didn't stop.

EWF are one of the top handful of acts I have seen at Bluesfest,in what was their only tour to Au ever. Like the Brian Setzer Orchestra, regular visitors to the high revenue market of Japan. The question is whether it is financially viable for Bluesfest to book them for Au.

Bob Seger just announced a farewell tour with a big gap around BF dates. Only problem is that is a huge chainsmoker and prob wont be able to last the 13 hrs flight to OZ without a ciggie

The Eagles announced their New Zealand and Australia tour February and March 2019 (Sydney 13 March last gig on their official tour dates page) - and then nothing until May in Antwerp! Could it be that they hang out at Bluesfest in April!?
