Closed for 2018. Who would you like for the next one?
I suggest:
Joe Bonamassa again:
1. Solo
2. With Beth Hart (latest CD is great) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NooMzmbE0xc
3. With Rock Candy Funk Party https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEvR5vnJty4
Robin Trower
Dani Wilde and Samantha Fish
Joanna Connor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwMp2VcVsvw
Ana Popovic (and bring out her dad as well)

Who else hasn't been to Byron for some time:
Bernard Alison, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, George Duke & Stanley Clarke, Richard Thompson, The Black Keys, Larry Carlton, Galactic, and lots more........

We are all hoping for things like Stanley Clarke George Duke project but it will be more of the what evers “cool” in the media strong women etc.......

I stayed home last year and was planning to this year until govt mule was announced. Even though they are relatively mainstream they at least have an edge.

Dear Skot,

Quinn Sullivan with Buddy Guy would be special.

When they go low-we go high.

Great to have some rock, eileenk9 (everything else is at the BLUES fest). If Joe Bonamassa comes, then would be great to bring Hughes, Bonham and Sherinian for Black Country Communion (they sound like a 70s rock band :) :).
Deep Purple - would go really well...... awesome musicians
Paul Rodgers
Totally agree with Marcus King Band

Yep....I am gobsmacked that they haven't already secured him prior to this. He (they) would have been great here this year with Warren Haynes, who has been a great mentor for him.

I'd be pretty happy to see BCC too, though Rock Candy Funk Party would be great also.

While we are at it (and Marcus King Band aside), it would be great to also see some of these great BLUES/BLUES-ROCK artists as well.....

North Mississippi Allstars
Alabama Shakes
Charlie Parr
Chris Duarte
Endless Boogie
Gary Clark jr
Fantastic Negrito (everyone seems to have forgotten him, despite the Grammy)
The Graveltones (not sure if they are still together though)
Black Pistol Fire
Seasick Steve
19-Twenty
The Magpie Salute

...as well as some of these who aren't quite blues, but would fit the bill nicely....

Sean Rowe
Riley Walker
Paper Kites
Boy & Bear
Ryan Adams
Son Volt

Yes Deep Purple would be amazing. 70s is my favourite era in music, then the 90s.

JANELLE MONAE would be great for next year.

Her 2 new singles are great, one is a homage to Prince:

A bit late for Vance Joy in 2018 even though he has nothing on his website after March 28. However, he would be a good bridging artist between the mainstream and BnR artists to attract the punters in 2019

As 2019 is a big year, then perhaps a big push for the reclusive Van Morrison before we lose him.

Just listening to Jeremy Spencer - obviously still playing, and lots of blues.
