Must admit to being puzzled by the non-appearance of Marcus King thus far, given his standing as one of the bright, shining up-and-comers of the blues world. Now...this Toronzo Cannon.....that would be a bonus if he were named. Thanks for the heads-up.

Yeah, good line up so far. Hopefully tomorrows announcement will make it feel complete. Got the five day buddy pack this year as we missed the late announcement of Neil Finn winding up the festival on Monday last year. Would like to see Chain again and would kill to see Burton Cummings live. Don`t know what The Guess Who sound like without him but their inclusion would awaken some long dead brain cells as well and set the stage for a one off reunion maybe. yeah always was a dreamer.

Think not. Nothing from BF mission control anywhere so Just a new member getting excited by the title of the thread.

But announcement is overdue. Thinking Boomerang and blues and some Aussie acts to round off the program.

I think somebody has read too much into the title of this thread.

Though it is about time for another reasonable announcement.

If it’s blues up next I’m still keen to see Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado.
The songs from the road album is a keeeper.

I knew something was coming this week ;)

Some nice things in todays announcement: Steve Smyth, Caiti Baker and All Our Exes Live In Texas all sound great.

Friday and Sunday are stacked full of great stuff, can't wait.

So... there's just the Boomerang stage left to announce ?

Great inclusions to a fantastic lineup already. Dreading the clashes already. What a year for my partner to come to her first Bluesfest.
Hanlon Brothers - hadn't heard of them, but they're on the list to see now. Love their sound.

Lots more good stuff to try and squeeze into an already busy planner for the full five days. 19 more acts to go to get to that magic number of 75. Reckon will be the Boomerang line up.

Saw a Colin Hay (Men at Work) interview, and enjoyed samples of his new album.
He would be an excellent addition to the line-up.
And it looks like his schedule would fit nicely with Bluesfest.

Colin Hay was fantastic at the Tivoli on Wednesday night. His band was very tight and he is a very good story teller between songs.

John Fogerty would be another acceptable artist.
I would approve very much if his band came to Bluesfest.

Hi All

..but a great list of artists so far.

Thanks Bluesfest !!
