I don't know to many of those acts but the waifs and chain are enough to get me keen

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

Hey Tim, I'm 40 something and, despite a truckload of time spent watching and playing music, I don't know all the bands on the line-up either. Living overseas for the past few years probably doesn't help in this regard. Having said that, there seems to be a pretty good mix of stuff on offer from folk to old Australian rock acts and even some classical stylings. How you pick your way through a line-up kind of comes down to what music you are into and personal taste. Personally, and it could just be how I'm feeling today, I would catch the first three headliners and make a point of hitting some of the folk acts like Andy Irvine. Frankie Yamma is a national treasure. Plenty of local blues talent in the form of Backsliders, Nick Charles, etc and it seems like you are already up for some exploring some Aussie roots with Chain and Captain Matchbox. If we ask him nicely, Dan seems pretty switched on and might provide some insight into some of the lesser well-known acts on offer....

I'll second that for The Graveyard Train

and I'd also add The Little Stevies as being a band well worth seeing.

The Backsliders and Captain Matchbox. It's great to see the Conway brothers are still going strong. :)

So who are all the others? ;)
