Has anybody seen these guys on their current tour.

I wouldn't mind seeing them when they come to Canberra next week but tickets are $90, so I wouldn't mind some reviews or recomendations before I fork out my money.

I'll be at the Canberra show.

I've seen Tommy a few times, and when he's got an electric guitar in his hands, he's simply awesome.

I saw Phil a few weeks ago at the Jimi Hendrix tribute show and he was fantastic. I can only imaging how good they'll be together.

Should be a great show. See you there!

Saw a doco on Tommy recently where he talked about learning from a very early age the guitar from listening to music, not seeing anyone play. He didn't realise til he was a teenager (when he saw someone else play) that what he was hearing was two guitars - lead and rhythm - so he had taught himself to play both at once!

Buddy Guy is without doubt the best guitar player alive.......the way he plays is beyond anyone. Amen

Got my tickets today. Should be a great concert.

Has Tommy ever played at Bluesfest?

I remember seeing him at the Canberra Labour club years ago. About 2/3rds through the night he announced to the audience "IT'S BLUES TIME!!!". Then proceeded to rip into Stevie's Blues and others.

For anyone who's at the Canberra concert, I'll be the guy who yells out "Play the blues Tommy!"

Yes, agreed. A small girl with a huge voice.

...and with a dad and uncle like that, she's got a great chance at making it.

I loved her song about acting like an 80 year old at 21. Great country style lyrics.

Phil and Tommy rocked hard. I loved Phil's version of that Italian piece. Masterful stuff.
