Thanks Mr. Beard for the wonderful trip down memory lane - it's a pity the current racing fraternity are not near as funny or talented.

Nice to see you back on the bored Reg !

Great video! I thought this comment just about nailed it:

That moment when the special guest´╗┐ renders the rest of the set totally pointless.

Example ONE

Over winter why not show the geek that you are and post two very different songs that are strangely similar !

Example TWO

Heading out for the East Coast / Lord knows I've paid some dues gettin' through, / Tangled up in blues.

Oh Mr. Beard me doth think that you have too much time on your hands- Lorne Greene for god's sake. Reminded me of my childhood sitting around the old black and white valve tv religiously every Friday night waiting for Bonanaza to start.

I loved Tuck & Patti when they played BF but none of the videos on YouTube seemed to "get" them. This is a full show and includes the song that had everyone aghast when they did it at BF - I well remember the crowd's total stunned silence. Fast forward to about 1:25 and, if you aren't familiar with the incredible voice of Patti Cathcart, be prepared to be amazed!

I think you put in an old and incorrect link oh Raucous one. Would love to see the gig by Tuck and Patti though as I loved that set you referred to at BF - she is one of my all time favourite female singers.

Why don't we have any musicians making magic out of our election?

http://youtu.be/Ct3BFR6GwFY

Tony Abbot Blues?

K Rudd took my baby to Papua New Guinea?

Pining for Christopher Pine?

Julia's big empty house of broken promises?

Trumpet bells ringing
Bass drum is swinging
As the trombone groans
And the big horn moans
