I recall seeing both bands at the Canberra Theatre in the mid 70's - Sebastian Hardie supporting Focus, and Ayers Rock with a then little known Kiwi outfit named Split Enz as support.

I saw Ayers Rock at the State Theatre (Sydney) and walked out of a support act called Split Enz- I'm guessing it was the same tour! The other support acts were Ol 55 and Skyhooks! Skyhooks, from memory had top billing but played second last (as they often did when on the same bill as Ayers Rock!)

Went to see The Panics at The Metro last Saturday. They were quite good, but I was probably more impressed with one of the supports, Georgia Fair
