With the recent passing of Solomon Burke, I was reminded of an idea I had at this year's fest: why not feature the music of former Bluesfest performers who are no longer with us, in between acts at the various stages?

Solomon, Bo Diddley, James Brown, Marva Wright, Little Milton, RL Burnside, Chris Whitley etc spring to mind. It would be a fitting tribute and I'm sure would be appreciated by many.
