So now that the last day of Bluesfest 2011 happens to be Anzac Day...let's see an Anzac stage with traditional Aussie and Kiwi acts rockin out whilst a two-up ring is held between sets!!
Let's see Redgum or John Williamson headlining....who doesn't love a sing a long of "True Blue"
Come on Mr Noble....it's almost impossible to resist!!

Great idea but you need to do your homework on quality Aussie and Kiwi acts...trad and current there are way less cheesy choices!

Looking forward to the debate....

Buddy Guy is without doubt the best guitar player alive.......the way he plays is beyond anyone. Amen

ME

Great idea but please god, not John Williamson!
Big vote for John Schumann and the Vagabond Crew (the new Redgum) and big support for Eric Bogle.

I think you'll all agree that a little bit of Cheese ( John Williamson ,Redgum, Dave Dobbyn, Max Merritt) tastes so much better with Crackers (NZ- Gin Wigmore, Bic Runga,The Black Seeds, Supergroove, Fat Freddy's Drop, The Ruby Suns, Liam Finn + AUSSIE's such as Paul Kelly, Mark Seymour, The Warumpi Band and or Neil Murray, James Reyne, Paul Dempsey, Katie Noonan, Washington)
Throw the last post somewhere in there and everyone's a winner!

Where is the Rockabilly,Blues,Country & Jazz ?

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.
