It was amazing, amazing music, amazing people, amazing atmosphere, amazing fun :)
We went out on the Sunday night - saw Zed Leppelin and spent the rest of the night roaming the town...
Met some pretty cute hippy guy, Chups... such a shame I will never see him again.

After that weekend, Byron is now the escape nirvana of life...
The ultimate destination to runaway to, and just live.
I wish I could live in that weekend, it was so much fun.
Reality bites, bad.

Just thought I might put that out there.
Feel free to add.

I felt the same way after my first Bluesfest in 2004. After a while, it passes, then you realise that it works better to have Byron as a highlight on the annual calendar, rather than trying to stretch it for the whole year. Just go see some bands in your own locality in the meantime - it'll help.

I agree - the only cure for post bluesfest blues is live music.

Me - I'm still smiling from Benjalu and Marshall and the Fro last Saturday night at the Junkyard, Maitland...

Buddy Guy is without doubt the best guitar player alive.......the way he plays is beyond anyone. Amen
