Can anyone give me some joy regarding this? Always after a good excuse to go to Gympie!

Some sites have differing dates but it seems to be June 9th-22nd.

Fri 11/6 ?
Sat 12/6 Brisbain
Sun 13/6 Gympie
Mon 14/6 Melbourne - Corner
Sun 20/6 Sydney?

Can anyone believe this trio touring this country together? I'm oiling my folding chair in anticipation.

Cindy's resume includes Rod Stewart (a gal's gotta eat!), Van Morrison, Ryan Adams, Bob Dylan, Asleep at the Wheel, Garrison Keillor, Marcia Ball, Jorma Kaukonen, Leon Redbone, BeauSoliel, Daniel Lanois, Redd Volkaert, and Dave Alvin. That's okay I suppose.

Selected Redd:
Ray Price, Rose Maddox, Dale Watson, Commander Cody, Garth Hudson, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, Al Cooper, Eric Johnson, Merle Travis, Albert Lee, Marty Stewart, Bill Monroe, Mavis Staples, Neko Case, Hank Williams III, George Jones, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Dwight Yoakam, Allison Krauss, Chip Taylor, Asleep at the Wheel, Johnny Gimble, Wanda Jackson, Harry Dean Stanton, Dolly Parton, Billy Gibbons, Sonny Landreth, Jr Brown, Jerry Donahue, Seymour Duncan, Bill Kirchen. That's okay too.

Bill - we all know, so I'll just have a rest now.

Thanks matey. A partial lineup from Gympie, but no satisfaction as yet. Anyone else?

Thanks Reg. It's actually called the "Stampede", which is completely different to a muster in cowboy terms as I understand it. The Muster is some time later.

The stampeders replied to me fairly promptly which was nice, but unfortunately our friends are not on the bill. They hadn't actually heard of them so I doubt they'll be making an appearance there somehow......

It looks like Redd (no Cindy or Bill) is coming and playing one show only in Adelaide, as you do when flying from the other side of the globe.

Governor Hindmarsh - show Friday 18th June + guitar clinic Saturday 19th June.

Disappointed.

Bill's website did indicate an Aussie tour, but it is now noted as being postponed.
Which means it will still happen sometime.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.
