Since we find ourselves a week out from the fest, just letting anyone who's interested know that I plan to head to the hotel in Brunswick Heads next Thursday from about noon. For anyone who's about and wishes to introduce themselves, I'll be out in the beer garden (weather permitting), look for the beard and brown wide brimmed hat.

Apologies to the Thursday Rails crew - first time I haven't stayed in Byron, so making it all the way back there seems like a bridge too far this year.

Hey

Could you do a post or send us an email after the festival to let me know how you went with the bus service in Brunswick Heads? We're thinking of it as a potential place to stay next year.

Thanks

We are staying at Bruns but will be hightailing it to the festival as we arrive around 4.30pm....will keep an eye out for you though!

PS Beard + brown wide rimmed hat - was that you watching at our wedding in the VIP tent last year?

Buddy Guy is without doubt the best guitar player alive.......the way he plays is beyond anyone. Amen

Hi curlyloc,
Wasn't me I'm afraid, am yet to go for the VIP experience at Bluesfest. Rabbitoh and Waffles managed to find me at the Rails last year, so I figured that I'd go with the same description again :-) Met Lone Ranger in the year before that. I think that's the only BB'ers that I've spoken to.........

mcloud - I got details off:

A little sketchy, but seems like all will be OK. I'll just rock up at the stop in town and grab the first one I see come past. Same at the end of the night.
