Bluesfest has been advised by Bella promotions that the Australian tour for Al di Meola's World Sinfonia has ended prematurely, and, he has left Australia.
The forum on Al di Meola's website has quite a lot more information on the tour cancellation for those who wish to be further informed.
Bluesfest regret's this late cancellation - however, it is something over which we have no control.
Sincerely
Bluesfest admin.

Damn....this is so disappointing - I was really looking forward to see him play. How about asking CC Adcock if he and Dave Ranson (bass) and a drummer (Warren Storm, Stanton Moore or Herman Ernest 111 ??) could throw together Lafayette Marquis for a set of southern psychobilly mayhem? CC's no slouch on guitar.....

That's too bad, although it eliminates one clash! Hopefully he'll come in 2011.
