Dear Bluesfest web managers,
How about providing a playing schedule that can be printed in a reasonable format. The pdf is too small and set up in 'portrait' view on the page.

You are admin? - perhaps you can pass it on. It should be monitored as it can contain useful commentary.

Get the smartphone app. That's all you really need.
You can change the view on your printer.

Hi vsurwald, I created and shared an alternatively formatted timetable last year, I'll be doing so again this weekend. Maybe it will suit your needs, otherwise i'm open to feedback.

It's hard to believe that the Future Artists 2019 Festival section has been a con for all these years
Tell me it ain't so.

So it would seem. Although a few years ago I seem to remember one of those mysterious moderators told someone that Peter Noble sees all our suggestions, apparently this is not true.
It is very sad that management set up a Froum and don't even bother to interact with it. It reinforces the fact that we are just numbers to them.

You're surely not suggesting that we're sometimes given misleading information?

What was the title of that Mothers of Invention album?

I’d imagine some information did used to get passed on prior to the great forum upheaval of 2015/16.

Phew. I am glad that my posts that have been regularly deleted by the volunteer moderator have had as much traction as the ones not deleted. This forum is for...um, each other I guess.

What's the use of that thread or the whole forum then?
It seems to be a private discussion board for half a dozen people these days, shame.

If that is true and the Moderator is a volunteer job that has nothing to do with Bluesfest management, then maybe one of the few that are left should put their hand up to be moderator?

For a very lengthy period in a previous life, this forum operated without intervention from a moderator.
The posters were able to self regulate.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.

I'd like to nominate Waffles for moderator of this forum. He has been to all Bluesfests from day one and is now retired so has plenty of cred with management and the punters on the board. If the job is so arduous and laborious and voluntary as is often pointed out by the moderator, perhaps now is the time to offer this onerous responsibility to someone else. I do think it a shame if all of our suggestions have fallen on deaf ears...............obviously not true with the chair resolution and the fact that we get so many wishes fulfilled. Can't be just by luck. Can't wait for Easter. Bring it on. Oh and thanks Mr. Moderator
