I'm torn... I hope she doesn't clash with Robert Plant as I want to see both!
If they do clash hopefully she'll be an hour late as usual LOL

Yeah I’m the same - I think it’s inevitable! I got tickets to see plant at the opera house too so I can’t complain too much

Even if they do clash, there would be a good chance of seeing both due to her issues with aligning her energy with the time.

Fantastic.Something.with.some.rapping.
Yes.it.will.clash.with.R.P.
Except that R.P will start 30 mins earlier.

Robert Plant definitely gets priority for me, but hopefully I'll get to see some of Lauryn Hill after... she's notorious for being late on stage.

Ms Hill won't be late at Bluesfest.
She'll be on time and lift the roof.
Stellar announcement

Not someone I've ever really listened to. But a quick trip to JB after a listen on Spotify and barring any unforeseen clashes (its Bluesfest; as if that won't happen) I'll be in her tent. I knew I bought those Robert Plant Opera House tickets for a reason.

I assume we can also expect ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour’ in 2023?!

Late again!
Good luck to the people seeing her at the Myer Music Bowl, considering they have a 10.30pm curfew!

will be attending the show with a friend on sunday in brisbane... that venue has a 10pm curfue so not sure how lauryn hills set will go but its fine by me as i am only going for nas who was fantastic at bluesfest a couple years back, will sit through as much of lauryn hill as we get for my friend though as she is a fan of hers.

just got back from the show in brisbane tonight... after much confusion about who would play when given no set times were provided to either the public or the staff at riverstage we eventually got an opening 20 minute set from an unannounced jamaican girl named tara harrison who actually sounded pretty good & was enjoyable for the time she had. after about a 25 minute break the star of the night, nas, took the stage & put on a 60 minute flawless performance that was loved by everyone in attendance. about 5 minutes after nas left the stage lauryn hills dj took the stage & about 40 minutes later ms hill decided to come out for her set which with the 10pm curfew left only about 70 minutes for her set. lauryn hill on vocals was alright but i've seen a lot better in the past, the real highlight of the set was the musicianship from her backing band who put on a tight & energetic performance which was very enjoyable. sadly ms hill left a lot of people wanting more than what she gave but it was not possible to play anything else due to the curfew. i would give the show a 7/10 & most of that is for everything other than lauryn hill which leaves me with the request to bluesfest, bring back nas for another set at the festival for the hiphop artist slot.

Nas with the Soul Rebels were perfect two years ago at Bluesfest
Kendrick just as good three years ago
Lauryn Hill last year......... still hadn’t turned up on stage 40 mins after her start time - lucky Robert Plant saved the day in the next tent!!!!
