Steve's new album comes out at the end of March......we need him at Bluesfest to pay tribute to one of the greatest songwriters ever.

Steve is so respectful to great songwriters like Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, yet he himself is one of the great songwriters of the past 30 years. I was watching a solo show of his on youtube last night in Sydney and he was giving a long introduction to Jerusalem, quite biographical, about how he left school after Year 8 (!!!) but loved reading. How he wrote Jerusalem at The Prince Hotel in StKilda (back in the day when it was one of the best venues in Melbourne) and then sang the song....it was really emotional. Plus he can rock it like few others.....!

Steve is like TJW for me...I'll always make the effort to see him perform.
