I think U2 performing Joshua Tree would be the best possible headliner for 2018.

Stevie Nicks and Pretenders have just announced an Aussie Tour for November so you can strike them off the list.

Fleetwood Mac is still a possibility though...

Whilst totally agreeing with you,the artist budget would be greatly reduced by getting these bands.
I can't see it happening .
.

When they go low-we go high.

YES to Fleet Foxes and Father John Misty
FJM just toured Oz in July but he only played shows in NSW and VIC so would love to see him back!
I saw FF in Europe in June and they were AMAZING
Also I'd add Iron & Wine :)

Please look into getting the band "James" to play in 2018. They are one of the UK's best bands and are amazing live. They have only ever toured Australia once so would be a big coup for Bluesfest to get them.

[quote=spetty]If Peter Noble can get these folks there ... where's my wallet!
Saw The Pretenders a few years ago, in concert they're just so good.
And a few years ago now I saw Emmylou in concert with Buddy Miller, out-of-this-world.
My number one country star.

The pretenders touring with Stevie Nicks for a day on the green in nov dec.
