Never heard of Jay-Z.
But Bluesfest needs a Rapper Headliner to get the kids buying tickets.
Which will introduce their ears to other sounds.

I was so close to buying a ticket to the festival but this has just put me off completely. Yes there are other tents but I'm not going to support a festival that books such a rubbish performer.

Dear Skot,

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

Nope. I'm hoping the "around 99 artists to go" quote means something else entirely.

Peter Noble responding to jay z rumour in recent ticket update.

"I'm not sure what the big rumour about Jay Z playing Bluesfest was about. He is a great artist, and we love him ... but that's as far as it goes."

Move along...Nothing to see here.
