Saw him last night in briz, truly amazing. What a voice has not lost any of it. Still hits all the high notes.

Any one else see him or is going so see him?
He'd be great a blues fest.

as much as that'd be cool, I doubt he likes australia that much that he'd come out here 3 times within 12 months.

The thought of Soundgarden playing at the Big Day Out 2012 makes me cringe.

I know. A Brisbane or Gold Coast show would've been good. Looks like I won't be going.

Same. Promoters live in another world. Just because the gild coast bdo didn't sell out they assume no one wants to see soundgarden or any one. Well I got news for ya Ken no one wants to see kanye simple. A soundgarden show at the river stage would sell out in minutes.

I didn't know that. I assumed BDO tickets always sell out no matter what. Most of the bands on the lineup I've never heard of ... it's definitely for a younger crowd and when you think about it, Soundgarden doesn't really fit in there. They should just cancel BDO and do a proper Australian tour.

EDDIE VEDDER!!

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

One year Eddie will play Bluesfest I hope

Ukulele Songs has been nominated for a Grammy next year for Best Folk album.

Did you see the PJ20 documentary? It's great.

i remember seeing Soundgarden supported by You am I and the Fauves in 96. You Am I at the top of their game were the highlight that day.

Trumpet bells ringing
Bass drum is swinging
As the trombone groans
And the big horn moans

His 47th birthday is next month which is probably the perfect age for Bluesfest.

Ben Harper plays at Bluesfest sometimes and he's younger than Eddie. :)

Is anyone on here going to any Soundgarden shows next month? I'm almost tempted to buy Gold Coast Big Day Out tickets just to see them.
