it's my first Bluesfest (like most people who have written in these forums),
i was wondering what the dress code is like there?
i dont want to under or over dress.

I prefer the "as little as possible approach"

Dodgy yet recognizable hat (so your friends can find or avoid you as they see fit)

A bag for carrying newly purchased cd's, a copy of the schedule, some sunscreen and the ubiquitous can of "Dog Off"

Ultra comfy and supportive shoes because you will stand up for long long periods of time

Drip dry clothes because you stand a pretty good chance of getting wet at some stage

If you look like you made an effort, then you're trying to hard

i do have an orange similar to the one suggested by waffles. perhaps i will wear that.

I'm pretty sure there were naked people rolling around in the mud at Belongil fields in 2009. It was hard to tell though as they were completely covered in it.
