yes to video screens.mojo and crossroads have big screens either side of the stage and screens further back on the sides.the other tents don't really need them.

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

He was part of Boomerang last year as well, and also played a set in Jambalaya on the Monday.

4:30pm Billy Bragg (contract stage)
7:30pm Beth Hart (4pm or after)

Should we be reading anything into this?

hey infidelrider, i rang bluesfest regarding this & was told there is nothing to read into this & both are on the crossroad stage as scheduled... i guess those things were typos from whoever updated the schedule.

Missed him last year, will be sure to catch him this year.

Will be in Tibet in a few months hoping to see some local musicians then.

Indeed . And Bob played a different set to the one he was doing the rest of the tour including a beautiful 'girl of the north country'. Definitely one to treasure.

I too was at that gig and mention to mates into music it's the ONLY gig I've been to in my 30+ years of going to gigs where there was total enraptured silence from the just on 1000 people there whenever Bob was playing.
Total respect, total silence, no one talking, no one doing anything but watching and enjoying the man and his band do their thing.
It was special.
And yes, the rendition of 'girl from the north country' was a very special highlight for me too.

If that was the 2014 tour, there is a bootleg of that show, can share if anyone interested

Yes please

A totally unexpected highlight for me last year. There was probably only 20 people in Jambalaya, and he had us all entranced. Will be doing everything I can to see him again, and I encourage everyone else to do the same.

23 Days to go until we leave home

I guess it doesn't matter now but I'm stilling hanging out for the last announcement. Any chance it will be Jack Johnson? Really want to keep my better half happy. Or is he too big for an opening slot.

The empty spots would be prefect for CW Stoneking to fill.

The addition of CW would be the standout announcement of the festival. He is an unadulterated genius.

And he has some girls with big instruments to look after him.

Request to Bluesfest

Could you please add end times to Zac Brown & Neil Finn on Monday. (Sorry if it's been mentioned how long they will play, don't recall it if it has).

Are there set breaks within the Boomerang Festival & when does the last Boomerang Festival artists finish playing each day?

Is Santana playing for 2hrs? Checking this as unusual length for not the last act on the night.

Thanks

The fact that BF recently resorted to posting on Facebook to find a support act for one of their touring acts is maybe a sign that they are having problems finding acts at such short notice.
